Albany Water encounters 14 foot snake while repairing break
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Members of Albany Water encountered a 14-foot boa constrictor while fixing the 48-inch transmission main at Tivoli Preserve over the weekend. The Department of Environmental Conservation was called in to capture and remove the snake.
Albany Water also says they will be operating valves to return the system back to normal Monday morning. There should be no impact on residents, however, if anyone has issues they can contact dispatch at (518) 434-5322.
