First of two big matches for the Rapids prior to Leagues Cup play. The Burgundy are looking to gain ground on the third place Galaxy while not slipping into fifth (Portland) which they are only two points clear of as well as sixth (Vancouver with 2 games in hand) and seventh (Seattle) who are also in striking distance of the Rapids.

Although the Rapids may feel disappointed with the draw on Saturday night, the Galaxy are coming off a 0-2 loss at Dallas where they only got one shot on goal....
