Yellow warning in effect due to high temperatures

The weather is expected to be mostly clear and hot on Wednesday, with a yellow weather warning for high temperatures in effect until 4pm, the met office said.

According to the met office, temperatures are due to rise to 41 degrees Celsius inland, 33 on the western coast, 35 on the rest of the coast, and 31 degrees in the mountains.

The met office added that in the mountains there is a chance of isolated storms.

In the evening, the temperature will fall to 25 degrees inland and on the coast, and 21 degrees in the mountains.

The weather is expected to be clear most of the week on the island, with some isolated storms expected in the mountains on Friday and Saturday.
