The Democrats are planning on holding a virtual roll call ahead of the party’s national convention. During this virtual event, Biden is expected to be elected as the party’s official presidential nominee. Once, this is done, the opposition to Biden will end. Many Democrats have called it a short cut to curb dissent and fast track Biden’s nomination.
