‘Run to Primark’ shoppers yell as they spot £14 dupe for Prada’s iconic £890 heels
THEY’RE known for their epic style dupes.
And it looks like Primark has done it again, judging by their new heels being hailed as a cut-price version of Prada’s iconic slingbacks.
One fashion fan took to TikTok to share a look at the £14 shoes, as she urged others to “run to Primark”.
She’d bought the heels in the Ecru colour, but they also come in red, in sizes from a 3 to an 8.
“Run to your Primark,” she captioned the video.
In the clip, she slowly turned the shoes to show them from every angle – from the pointed toe and triangle detail to the sling back and elegant and on-trend kitten heel.
And people were quick to comment on the video too, with one writing: “Giving Prada!”
They weren’t wrong, as the shoes look almost identical to Prada’s heels, but come in at £876 less.
“This is sooooo cute,” another commented on the TikTok.
“When you imagine a timeless heel, we wouldn’t blame you for immediately picturing the court shoe, and we’re bringing you this classic and sophisticated style with some updates to make it even more of an asset to your rotation!” Primark writes of the shoe on their website.
They added that the pointed toe gives the illusion of longer legs, and the shoes are perfect to pair with “work outfits, formal occasion dresses, or even for dressing up denim on the weekends”.
Continuing to boast about the “elegant and luxurious” heels, they concluded: “This is a shoe you’ll be able to rely on for every event!”
Not everyone was impressed by the new arrival though, with one insisting they look like “plastic”.
Fashion fans have been racing to the high-street store in recent weeks for a whole host of dupes, including a £12 bag that is the perfect dupe for Chloe’s £950 medium Woody tote.
Modelling it in store, an employee at the Sauchiehall Street branch in Glasgow said: “Dupe alert!

- And lastly, they try to be “as efficient as possible when transporting products from factories to stores”. This includes things like asking “suppliers to pack our t-shirts so they are ready to go straight on shelf”.
