Parents are running to Aldi to get their hands on a new £4.99 buy that’s great for keeping organised[/caption] Not only this, but it’ll add style to any kitchen, but you’ll need to move fast to nab one[/caption]Not only this, but if you’ve got kids, it’s even better and super handy.
With many schools already broken up for the summer holidays, and the rest set to have their last day this week, if you’re a parent and want an easy way to keep your family in the loop, then this is for you.
Aldi’s new Specialbuy is one you won’t want to miss, and at £4.99, we think it’s a real steal.
Aldi took to social media to show off the cheap buy, leaving many open-mouthed.
Posting on Instagram, the much-loved chain shared a picture of the new middle aisle find – a Kitchen Memo Board.
Alongside the snap, the supermarket wrote: “Get the whole family organised with our Kitchen Memo Board!”
The chain then asked: “Will you be grabbing one to get through the summer chaos?”
The handy Kirkton House memo board is approximately 30 x 42cm, so is perfect for hanging on a kitchen wall.
Not only is it incredibly functional, but it’ll also bring some style and personality to your space.
This super cute accessory will look right at home in your kitchen and not only this, but there’s three different boards to choose from – this Kitchen Planner, a Memo Board, and also a Note Board.
And of course, you also get a piece of chalk included too.
So whether you want to write out your family’s meals for the week, your shopping list, or some random notes to your family, then you’ll need to head down to Aldi as quickly as you can.
Why do Aldi and Lidl have such fast checkouts
IF you’ve ever shopped in Aldi or Lidl then you’ll probably have experienced its ultra-fast checkout staff.
Aldi’s speedy reputation is no mistake, in fact, the supermarket claims that its tills are 40 per cent quicker than rivals.
It’s all part of Aldi’s plan to be as efficient as possible – and this, the budget shop claims, helps keep costs low for shoppers.
Efficient barcodes on packaging means staff are able to scan items as quickly as possible, with the majority of products having multiple barcodes to speed up the process.
It also uses “shelf-ready” packaging which keeps costs low when it comes to replenishing stock.
Aldi has hailed the “house essential” “a kitchen need” and for those with kids, there’ll be no more annoying ‘what’s your dinner?’ questions multiple times a week.
We think it’s a great way to keep your little ones in the loop during the summer holidays – but you’ll need to move fast if you want to nab one.
When's the best time to shop at Aldi?
WHEN it comes to shopping at Aldi, the best time to do so depends on what you want to buy.
For reduced items – when shops open
Red sticker items are rare at Aldi’s 830 UK stores, but the supermarket says that none of its food goes to waste so there are some to be found – if you’re quick.
A spokesman for the supermarket said: “All items are reduced to 50 per cent of the recommend sales price before stores open on their best before or use by dates.”
That means you have the best chance of finding reduced food items if you go into stores as soon as it opens.
Opening times vary by shop but a majority open from 7am or 8am. You can find your nearest store’s times by using the supermarket’s online shop finder tool.
For Specialbuys – Thursdays and Sundays
Specialbuys are Aldi’s weekly collection of items that it doesn’t normally sell, which can range from pizza ovens to power tools.
New stock comes into stores every Thursday and Sunday, so naturally, these are the best days to visit for the best one-off special deals.
For an even better chance of bagging the best items, head there for your local store’s opening time.
You don’t have to head into stores to bag a Specialbuy, though.
They also go on sale online, usually at midnight on Thursday and Sunday, and you can pre-order them up to a week in advance.
As long as you spend at least £25, you’ll get the items delivered for free.
Remember: once they’re gone, they’re gone, so if there’s something you really want, visit as early as possible
SHOPPERS RAVE
