The return-to-office debate is settled: Offices are busier than ever

A new “office busyness index” shows growing usage, even on Mondays.

Offices around the country are slowly but steadily seeing workers return. According to a new set of monthly office occupancy data, U.S. offices are, on average, 3% busier than they were last year. In some industries and some cities, office use even exceeds pre-pandemic levels.
