Gamers go wild as beloved fighting game makes a comeback and it’s available right now
EVO is one of the biggest fighting tournaments in the world, and numerous updates for popular series were announced.
One of the biggest announcements is that a series is making a comeback that we haven’t seen for more than years.
SNK vs Capcom is making its comeback[/caption]SNK has revealed that SNK vs Capcom is making a comeback, and people can already jump into a game.
There are seven games in the SNK vs Capcom series, but the latest game is a remake of the 2003 release.
The new release is a remake of SNK vs Capcom: SVC Chaos, and features 36 playable characters.
SNK vs Capcom does as the title suggests and pits fighters from SNK games against Capcom’s heroes.
From the SNK roster, you can choose powerful fighters like Terry Bogard and Mai Shiranui, and from Capcom games, you can play with Ryu and Chun-Li.
SNK is best known for its fighting games, and dominated the market back in the Neo Geo era.
One of the best improvements in the re-release is the ease of playing with others online, as you can challenge others in online tournaments.
There are also a number of quality-of-life improvements to help newcomers get into the game.
SNK vs Capcom: SVC Chaos has been released for Steam, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and on GOG.
The PS4 version can be played on PS5, but it isn’t optimised for the current-gen console.
The remaster was shadow-dropped on Steam immediately after the announcement, and launched today (July 22) on the other platforms.
New characters were also announced for two of SNK’s other games.
Kevin Rian was announced as the next fighter for the upcoming game Fatal Fury: City of Wolves, and Vice and Mature will be added to King of Fighters 16.
