Four arrested following traffic stop in Glens Falls
GLENS FALLS, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Glens Fall Police announced that four people are facing multiple charges following a traffic stop. Mark McFarlane, of Poughkeepsie, Felicia Benedict-Hillman, of Johnstown, Beverly Singletary, of Gloversville, and Shawnda Seelow, also of Gloversville, were all arrested on Friday.
On July 19 just after 1 p.m., police pulled over a car on Lawrence Street for a vehicle and traffic law violation. During the stop, officers reportedly recovered narcotics inside the car resulting in the arrest of all occupants. The four now face the following charges:
McFarlane, Benedict-Hillman, Singletary and Seelow
- Third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance - intent to sell
- Third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance - aggregate weight of one-half ounce or more

- State parole absconder - warrant executed
Singletary
- Third-degree criminal possession of a weapon (previous conviction)
All four defendants were held pending their arraignment. Glens Falls Police were assisted during the arrest by New York State Police.
