Train derails, hits garage in Niagara Falls

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A train appeared to derail and hit a garage on Seneca Avenue near 35th Street in Niagara Falls on Monday morning.
A Niagara Falls police source told WIVB that the call went out at 8:15 a.m. The train was being operated remotely by a CSX employee. The train went through a berm and hit the garage.
A WIVB photographer on scene captured the train hitting the garage on the back part of the home. There were multiple emergency crew units on scene.
There were no injuries.
