‘THIS IS A NEED!’ people yell as Primark drops an ‘essential’ film collection that’s got them running to the store
IT’S the highest-grossing film of 2024 so far.
And now fans of Inside Out 2 are hitting Primark for an adorable new range featuring beloved characters from the animated movie.
One woman took to TikTok to share a video of the new offering – a pack of trainer socks with Anxiety, Sadness and Anger on the front.
The Anxiety socks also featured the words “I’m fine” – referencing the panic attack scene in the film where main character Riley struggles to control her anxiety.
The Sadness socks have “Emotional” written above an image of the character wailing, while the Anger socks also feature some writing.
“NEW Inside Out 2 sock packs spotted in Primark!” she captioned her video, revealing that they’re £4 for the pack.
And the comments section was almost immediately filled with people insisting they needed to plan a trip to Primark ASAP.
“THIS IS A NEED,” one raved.
“I want some!!” another added.
“We need them,” a third wrote, with their friend replying, “I’m running there tomorrow!”
“Ah yes my three emotions, Anxiety, Sadness and Anger,” someone else laughed.
“Time to go to Primark!”
While another said they could relate all three emotions to their schoolwork.
“The anxiety pair is when I’m coming close to a due date for an assignment and haven’t finished,” they wrote.
“Sadness me when I get a new assignment, anger is me when I have to do a resubmission!”
“Toooo cute,” someone else gushed.
“I need these NOW,” another insisted.
“OMG I need,” someone else said.
But others insisted they wanted emotions that weren’t included in the pack.
“I saw these yesterday but I wanted Joy!” one wrote.
Why is Primark the place to go to for bargains?
JUST how does Primark do it? Continue delivering on-trend items at such incredible prices? According to bosses, it's down to four points.
- They “sell a lot of items” – Thanks to that, they are able to make savings by buying in bulk for their 191 UK stores
- They “do very little advertising”
- While their clothes offer the “latest trends”, they “don’t use expensive hangers, tags or labels”.
- And lastly, they try to be “as efficient as possible when transporting products from factories to stores”. This includes things like asking “suppliers to pack our t-shirts so they are ready to go straight on shelf”.

“I need Envy tho,” someone else sighed.
And some were more taken by the Lilo & Stitch trainer socks, Sonic the Hedgehog ones and even Felix the Cat.
In the description for the latter £4 pack on their website, Primark wrote: “Initially a star of the silent screen, these Felix the Cat trainer socks are definitely something you’ll want to talk about!
“Adopting a low-cut silhouette, they’re infused with stretch for all day comfort and give you the choice of three fun feline designs.
“Complete with a ribbed hem, they’re a great way to liven up your weekly rotation!”
