Hoosick Falls woman arrested on felony charges after Walmart larceny
WILTON, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Saratoga County Sheriff's Office announced the arrest of a Hoosick Falls woman following a larceny investigation. Collette Hoag, 35, is facing multiple charges.
On July 21 around 10:39 p.m., deputies responded to the Walmart in Wilton for the report of a theft. The investigation determined that Hoag allegedly stole property from the store, resulting in her arrest.
While being taken into custody, Hoag was reportedly found to have over one-half ounce of narcotics. She now faces the following charges:
- Third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance - intent to sell
- Third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance - aggregate weight of one-half ounce or more
- Petit larceny
Hoag was arraigned at the Moreau Town Court before being remanded to the Saratoga County Jail without bail.
