Gamethread: White Sox at Rangers
Brooks Baldwin gets his fifth straight start at second base. It’s notable not because he’s been playing poorly but management is still playing him, but that he was brought up to play, and they’re going to play him. If after another few games he’s still overmatched, OK, make the call to send him back to Charlotte or ride the pine and work some drills, or whatever.
I mean, still, fire everyone. But this is at least a little different approach from the White Sox.

Garrett Crochet, burying the lede because, well, it is too depressing not to, is fairly likely starting his final game for the White Sox tonight. Given the likelihood he is dealt, there is probably no significant pitch/inning count on him tonight.
