All artists should start using this ‘Created with Human Intelligence’ badge

Artists are adopting an illustrated badge that marks their work as human-made.

Beth Spencer couldn’t have anticipated she was going to start a small revolution when she drew her “Created with Human Intelligence” badge for her first Draw This in Your Style challenge. The freelance illustrator, who works from Germantown, Tennessee, tells me over email that she wanted to make it because she believes there’s more value in art, writing, and music made by people. “Being human is hard,” she says. “There isn’t any software that has experienced the struggles and joy that fuel our art.”
