Havwoods Floored By Distribution Partners’ Delivery Success

Preston-based Palletline member HMT Group has entered into a distribution contract with Havwoods Luxury Flooring – and achieved a 100% on-time in-full delivery (OTIF).

The contract is being supported by Palletline London, with it providing two trucks distributing Havwoods products on a daily basis in the Greater London area and the remaining work split between HMT’s fleet and the Palletline network for UK and Ireland distribution.

Palletline said the OTIF figure was almost unprecedented in the industry and represented the high expectations Havwoods has for its logistics partners.

Mark Gallagher, HMT Group GM, said: “We’re incredibly pleased that Havwoods has put its trust in us to deliver its luxury flooring, and through our collaborative working practice with Palletline London, we have developed a truly bespoke, high-end service to match.

“We will continue to review the service level we provide, ensuring we are meeting or exceeding our KPI promises, but are also consistently adding additional value to Havwoods’ supply chain needs.”

Havwoods said it was ‘ecstatic’ with the results being achieved by the two hauliers.
