Huge new theme park to open in Europe – with 50 attractions as well as mermaid and viking themed lands
A HUGE new theme park is opening in a cheap European country – with 50 new rides and attractions.
Hossoland, in Poland, is wanting to take on other larger parks such as Energylandia.

It was first announced in 2017, with fairytale and historical themes.
The park will have four themed lands across the 400,000sqm – Mermaid City, the Kingdom of Baltambrya, the Land of the Vikings and the Dragon Valley of the Mines.
Across the four lands will be 50 rides and attractions, which includes a huge steel rollercoaster called GhostRider, hitting speeds up to 72mph.
Guests will enter via a huge shipwreck, with other images showing a water attraction although more is to be revealed about this.
There will also be 20 food and drink areas.
While initially scheduled to open this year, it has since been pushed back to June 2025.
Karen Hovsepyan, vice president of the park’s operator Hosso Group, told Planet Attractions: “Hossoland will be the only amusement park of such a large scale on the Polish coast.
“It will certainly become a recognisable symbol and a frequently visited place in this region.”
The best way for Brits to get there will be to fly to Szczecin, with Ryanair offering £14.99 flights from both Liverpool and London.
The park will be around an hour by car from there.
And the theme park is just 30 minutes from the Baltic Coast, with a number of seaside resorts popular with locals.
Until it opens, Brits can head to the Energylandia theme park instead, also in Poland.
Having opened in 2014, it is Europe’s largest theme park with 125 rides.
These include Europe’s biggest wooden rollercoasters and a 7D cinema.
It also has one of the biggest outdoor waterparks in Poland.
Across the 4.5 hectares as four zones, 36 waterslides and 7,000 sunloungers – so no need to reserve one.
Last year, the park’s director revealed plans to open an indoor waterpark to connect to it, so it can remain open all year round.
She said: “We first want to concentrate on the construction of an indoor waterpark, which will connect to the infrastructure of the existing outdoor area.
“The waterpark will also be connected to a hotel zone, which will make it possible to receive guests all year round.”
She claims that the park has more than 200 hectares available to build on, with only 70 hectares of them currently in use.
