'Anyone with a heart!' Furious 'The View' hosts bash J.D. Vance for childless women diss
"The View's" co-host Sara Haines blew up at Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) Wednesday over his claim that "childless" Democrats" "don't really have a stake" in the future of the country.
The all-female panel of hosts, in front of a heavily female audience, laid into the far-right lawmaker after he told the Fox network that "childless cat ladies" have taken control of the Democratic Party.
'In hearing that clip, there's so many places to go. The people that can't have kids. The people that have proudly chosen not to," said Haines, a mother of three. "But the part that really disgusts me, he thinks by the fact you have children, that's how you look through the lens of politics.
"I have children, and I can assure you that is not my first thought when I think about politics."

She said that the future will obviously impact her kids, "but anyone with a heart with look at the moral clarity of the decisions we're making here."
She expressed fears about the environment and its impact on her children and grandchildren, but they weren't the only ones she cared about.
"I worry about me. It's Mother Earth. We're here to rent it, not destroy it. That p---es me off the way we treat things," an annoyed Haines continued. "And poverty pulls on the heartstrings, and I look — my kids have something to eat. I've had something to eat every meal of my life. Sometimes, it's too much to eat, but my point here is it's not my kids I'm worried about. It's every kid and every person and every human."
"So, if you have a heart in your chest and are only looking through the lens of your own family, you are part of the problem," she said.
Sunny Hostin pointed out that one of the largest growing demographics in the U.S. is Generation Z, many of whom will vote for the first time in 2024. Those teens and college students likely have no children, Hostin said. Still, Vance is criticizing young women for being single and childless.
