Love Island USA’s Rob Says There Was ‘Never a Point’ When He Stopped Liking Leah
Love Island’s Rob Rausch (and his overalls) seemingly went straight from Fiji to the Call Her Daddy stu. Host Alex Cooper grilled Rausch on where things stand with Leah Ketab, the girl fans shipped him with throughout season 7. Many are still rooting for them, even though Ketab has moved on with Miguel Harichi. “I think after everything, I think we will be amazing friends, and I think I’d rather just focus on that for now,” he said. “She’s an amazing person. So fucking funny. I am laughing the whole time I’m with her usually.” Yet another blow to the unpicked, funny girl community.
Rausch also said that one of his biggest dating flaws is that he “procrastinates” his emotions. “I think I’m feeling them, but I don’t process them in my brain until I have to,” he said. “That’s what I think happened with the Leah and Andrea situation.” Rausch thinks his delayed emotional processing played a factor in the explosive fight he and Ketab had, where he tried to be up front with her about like Andrea Carmona. Cooper asked Rausch if he’d been afraid to have that conversation. “Of course, because I didn’t want to hurt her. I still really liked her,” he said. “There was never a point when I stopped liking Leah.”
