1 dead, 1 detained following incident in southeast Austin

AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Austin Police Department said one person was dead and another was detained related to a shoot/stab hot shot call in southeast Austin.

According to police, the incident occurred near the 2100 block of Burton Drive.

APD is expected to hold a briefing later to provide additional details.
