Fans have been wondering if Taylor Swift will be appearing in Deadpool & Wolverine for ages now, and Ryan Reynolds is reacting to the rumors.

For months, fans hoped that the hitmaker would appear as the mutant Dazzler in the new Marvel movie, which also stars Hugh Jackman‘s Wolverine.

That was denied earlier this month. However, almost immediately after, Swifties speculated that she might appear as Lady Deadpool. We got a first official glimpse at the character last week.

During a recent interview, Ryan weighed in on if it was possible.

While on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Ryan was asked about cameos, and Jimmy Fallon mumbled Taylor‘s name.

“I wish,” Ryan replied. “You know, if I ever stop, she’d make a good Deadpool.” The actor insisted that she’s funny.

Ryan also explained why he would not call the appearances cameos, saying that they were actually “surprises.”

“There are surprises. I would say that the folks that do show up in the movie – that I have no idea how we’ve managed to keep it secret given the internet and all this stuff -but I would say it’s more surprises,” he explained.
