Trump dragged for saying Harris – whose husband is Jewish – is ‘totally against’ Jews
Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump was mocked on social media after making the baseless claim that Kamala Harris — who is married to a Jewish man — is anti-Jewish.
“She’s totally against the Jewish people,” Trump said during a long and meandering speech Wednesday in Charlotte. “And it amazes me how Jewish people will vote for the Democrats when they are being treated so disrespectfully and badly.”
Harris, who gained enough delegates to earn the Democratic nomination this week, is married to Doug Emhoff, who was born into a Jewish family and embraced the faith later in life, according to Jewish media outlet The Forward.

On X, users were quick to point out the inaccuracy of Trump’s claim that Harris was anti-Semitic.
“Mamala disagrees,” wrote legal analyst Jeffrey Evan Gold on X, referring to the pet name Harris’ stepchildren have for her. “She's got a mezuzah on the front door of the Naval Observatory where she lives for god sakes.”
“What a moron,” NBC executive Mike Sington wrote on X. “Trump is so desperate, it’s embarrassing.
“He just blathers this stuff out,” X user @jgoodloejapan wrote. “As a regular person I guess it’s OK. However, as a presidential candidate, how can we let this go on?”
