I know last night was a friendly, but we were up against a team who were desperate for a confidence boosting win, and we totally dominated. Made me think that we might just have a cup run this season. I can see both Premiership and Championship sides resting players to concentrate on their league campaigns, and we certainly have the quality to exploit that.
Okay, so promotion is our priority, but we are assembling quality in depth and a cup run must be possible. I think getting to the later rounds of both the FA and League cups is long overdue - but I think this will be a season of surprises.
