Frankfurt airport in Germany temporarily suspended flights after climate activists blocked runways by gluing themselves to the tarmac. Last Generation activists demanded the German government help shape and sign a global agreement to regulate the phase-out of oil, gas, and coal by 2030. Similar disruptions were observed at other European airports, including Cologne-Bonn airport.
