Hong Kong Hang Seng Index closes 1.77 pct lower

HONG KONG, July 25 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong stock market ended lower Thursday with the benchmark Hang Seng Index down 1.77 percent to close at 17,004.97 points.

The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index slid 2.05 percent to end at 6,016.51 points, and the Hang Seng Tech Index dropped 2 percent to 3,421.26 points.
