The Goat’s Surf Forecast
Surf forecast issued Thursday 25 July 2024 : Seven day outlook for Sydney
It’s as flat as the surf was in Melbourne! said TG this morning.
Poor dear still can’t get it into his head that Port Phillip Bay is not the ocean.
He wouldn’t have gone in anyway with 13 degree water temp, 11 max air temps and Antarctic wind and rain.
It doesn’t look like winter is finished with us here yet either, realtively speaking.. Enjoy Friday and Saturday, ’cause from Sunday it looks like Melbourne people are happy to share their Melbourne weather with us – whether we want it or not!
Surf outlook here…
Friday: less than 1 metre North East or flat
Saturday: less than i metre North East or flat
Sunday: Might start to come up as the wind turns from W to SW, from a Low expected to develop off the south coast
Monday: up around 2 ish metres from dead South, subject to the Low doing what’s expected
Tuesday: could be around 2 – 2+ metres from South East, chopped by wind…subject to movement of the Low
Wednesday: up more, could be 3-4 4+ metres South East…subject to movement of the Low
Thursday: dittoish.
Don’t put the puffer jacket away yet.
