Intern season: grab a free chicken sandwich at Popeyes
NEW YORK (PIX11) – Intern season is nearly over, but not before the interns get a day for themselves.
On Thursday, National Intern Day, Popeyes is giving out free chicken sandwiches for interns and the people who help them with a $10 purchase.
“Whether it’s sitting in on those semi-inspiring intern lunch and learns, running out to grab lunch for the office, or organizing corporate lunches – no matter how skilled and successful one is coming into their internship program, interns end up knowing a lot about lunch during their experience,” said a representative of the chain.
The promotion is only available online and through the Popeyes App, but you have to make an account and spend at least $10. All reward members can get the promotion.
“‘You Ate.’ So now, we want you to eat Popeyes. For free,” a representative of Popeyes said.
