Tottenham Hotspur took part in a behind-closed-doors friendly today against a Japan Youth side, with Mikey Moore among the Spurs starlets to take part.

It was reported by Alasdair Gold this morning that Tottenham were due to play another behind-closed-doors friendly today, following their 7-2 win over Cambridge United back in England.
This time, Ange Postecoglou was said to be prioritising minutes for the academy players on Tottenham’s pre-season tour, as well as some younger fringe players like Oliver Skipp and Djed Spence.
This would then allow the Spurs boss to hand more than 45 minutes to his more senior squad members in the pre-season friendly against Vissel Kobe on Saturday.

Lilywhite Rose reports that Tottenham won 5-2 in the behind-closed-doors friendly today, with Mikey Moore, Will Lankshear and Alejo Veliz all on the scoresheet for the Lilywhites.
The full line-up is not yet known but the goalscorers would tend to suggest that Alasdair Gold was right about Postecoglou using the academy starlets today.
This continues a fine pre-season for Lankshear and Moore, both of whom have scored in senior first-team friendlies against Hearts and QPR so far this summer.
Spurs Web Opinion:
I understand if Will Lankshear heads out on loan this summer, as well as a number of other Tottenham academy players.
However, Mikey Moore should be kept with the first team and given as many minutes as possible this season, much like Pep Guardiola did with a young Phil Foden. This kid looks special!
