Man in critical condition after chair assault in Queens: NYPD
QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) -- A man was arrested for allegedly hitting another individual with a chair on Friday morning in Queens, sending him to the hospital in critical condition, according to the NYPD.
The incident happened at 4:18 a.m. on 175th Street.
The victim, 39, was allegedly making noise outside of the location when a 30-year-old came outside and confronted him, police said.
The argument turned physical, and the suspect hit the victim with a chair, police said. The victim was taken to Jacobi Hospital in critical condition.
The suspect was taken into custody. No charges had been filed, as of Friday afternoon.
