‘So impressed’ cry B&M shoppers after high tech home essential scans for almost HALF the price
ONE clever customer has bagged a high-tech vacuum cleaner for almost half of its regular retail price.
The savvy B&M shopper picked up a Russell Hobbs Atlas 2 Cyclonic Cylinder Vacuum and found it scanned for just £39, down from £69.
B&M is a huge hit with savvy UK bargain hunters[/caption]She shared her incredible get on social media, writing: “Hoovers scanning at £39 in B&M picked one up, suction is quite strong”.
Someone commented underneath, saying: “I have this hoover it’s great, suction is great”.
And someone replied: “It is I was so impressied.
“And it was a bargain, win win,” they added.
The same model can go for as much as £48 from other retailers like Amazon.
Currys is selling it for a much larger £52.99.
Another household essential is scanning at B&M for a fraction of its retail price.
A loyal customer revealed the favourite store is selling lamps for £1 instead of the usual £9.
Along with pictures of the goods she wrote: “Lamps at B&M £9.
“Sticker on lamps says reduced to £7 but on shelf said £1 and went through the till at £1.”
The bargain hunter said she picked up the lamps at the Lytham St Anne’s branch which is near Blackpool.
Viewers were quick to praise the find with one dubbing it “brilliant”.
Another simply congratulated the poster, saying “well done you”.
Bear in mind, if you’re looking to snap up the vacuum on sale, or the lamp for £1, you might not find it in your local branch so cheap.
Retailers tend to reduce items like this to clear stock in specific branches.
So it’s not a guarantee that you will find a bargain just like other punters do.
Always remember to shop around when buying something like this as well as you might find it cheaper elsewhere.
You can use websites like Price Spy and Trolley to compare prices on thousands of products across different retailers.
The Google Product tab is helpful for running a quick scan across the internet too.
Back in May 2023, B&M announced plans to open 30 new stores in the UK over the past year, including some relocations of older sites.
Earlier this year the chain favourite opened 17 new stores, many of which were former Wilko sites.
B&M agreed to buy up to 51 locations in a £13 million deal in September 2023.
