A MOTHER has shared her massive shock after spotting a huge creature on her baby camera – before realising what it actually was.
Mum-of-one Maddy Lindhorst took to TikTok to share the epic blunder after seeing something unusual and totally bizarre on her baby monitor.
According to the fitness lover, who is currently pregnant with her second child, she took a quick glance at her phone to see what her tot was getting up to in the family’s living room.
But spare a thought for Maddy who saw ”a massive gorilla” standing in an imposing manner in front of the couch.
Horrified, the woman immediately dashed inside their home to save the little one from the huge primate – however, the second she’d reached the living room, Maddy realised what the massive animal actually was.
”His toy gorilla sitting right up close to the camera,” the mortified mother chuckled, sharing the hilarious incident on her page.
Since being posted on TikTok, the video has gone viral, winning the fit mum a whopping 7.2million views in less than 24 hours.
After taking the internet by storm, Maddy – who said she had never run that fast – admitted she didn’t really have a plan when it came to fighting the primate off.
”Absolutely no plan other than my baby was inside the house so I had to run in there,” she told in the comments.
”I was really panicking,” she opened up about the initial terror and shock.
The clip has left people in hysterics, with thousands flocking to comments to share their thoughts.
One seemed to be just as petrified as Maddy, writing: ”My flabbers were gasted, because why does it look so real??”
A fellow mum chimed in: ”Mum brain would’ve had me calling 911.”
”I was boutta say like did he escape the zoo and get into your crib,” a third joked, as others shared similar horror stories they’d experienced.
”THIS HAPPENED TO ME WITH MY CAT I THOUGHT I SAW A BLACK PANTHER ,” a pet lover cried.
”Once a stink bug crossed right in front of our kitchen camera and it looked like a GIANT ALIEN BUG was walking across our kitchen counters.
”When I tell you I did a double take!!” a mortified social media user wrote.
Speaking of parenting, one mum-to-be recently hit the headlines after people slammed her over her ”disgusting” pregnancy annoucement.
The woman, Mari, from the US, decided to surprise her hubby, Chan, with the wonderful news – by serving him a snack that had her pregnancy test inside.
According to Mari, she had originally planned to share the big news ”the traditional way” – but decided to ”change it up”.
”Because he loves food and because he loves snacks, I just thought ‘Why don’t I just put it in his favourite snack?’,” she said on Instagram.
After being urged to try out the new dish, Chan pulled it out and gave it a bite – before realising what it really was.
Totally shocked, the partner asked his wife if she was pregnant – before branding Mari ”nasty” once she admitted she hadn’t washed the container.
