Sprint Cars Return to Utica-Rome Speedway this Friday, August 2
VERNON, NY – Sprint Cars are back on Route 5 in Vernon.
This Friday, August 2, the CRSA Sprint Cars take on Utica-Rome Speedway in their first 2024 appearance at the Home of Heroes. The lightning-fast winged warriors join a complete program of live and local stock car racing presented by the Friendly Family of Dealerships and Zielinski’s Asphalt.
Jordan Hutton is the most recent CRSA winner, topping a strong field last Saturday night at Fonda Speedway in Fonda, N.Y.
Quebec’s Tomy Moreau leads the point standings into the CRSA summer stretch.
The previously scheduled CRSA appearance in June at Utica-Rome fell to rain.
Joining the CRSA contingent are the 3 Bastards Brewing Modifieds, Taylor’s Trailers Crate 602 Sportsman, Next Generation GraphiX Pro Stocks, Fastline Performance Limited Sportsman and Fonda Fair Four Cylinders.
Last week’s winners included Alex Yankowski (Modified), Matt Janczuk (Crate 602 Sportsman), Devon Camenga (Pro Stock), Andrew MacFadden (Limited Sportsman), Jeff Connolly (Four Cylinder Dual Cam) and Wayne Russell Jr. (Four Cylinder Single Cam).
Grandstand admission is $20 (Adults), $18 (Seniors ages 65 and over) and Kids 11 and under are FREE.
Pit admission is $40 (Non-Members), $35 (Members), $10 Kids (ages 6-12) and $2 for Children ages 5 and under.
