Brazil's foreign tourists spend $3.7 billion in H1 2024

ABU DHABI, 30th July, 2024 (WAM) -- International visitors spent around US$3.7 billion in Brazil in the first half of 2024, Agncia Brasil reported. This amount broke the previous record of $3.5 billion in 2014 when the country hosted the World Cup.

According to data released by the Brazilian Central Bank, the number is also 15.6% higher than the first half of 2023, when foreign visitors spent $3.2 billion.
