Crocs has teamed up with Hello Kitty once more, bringing fans ultra-cute clog styles imbued with the charm of the beloved franchise.
Two brand-new classic clogs were released, one featuring a Hello Kitty-centric design and the other boasting a Cinnamoroll-inspired construction. Hello Kitty’s clog includes a vibrant red and light pink polka-dotted print featuring graphics of the cat character’s face and her iconic bow.
Similarly, the Cinnamoroll silhouette pays homage to the character’s colors, featuring a light blue and white colorway with cloud graphics. Squishy Jibbitz of their respective characters accompanies both styles. Hello Kitty branding can be found fixed to the backstraps.
Additionally, each playful iteration includes pivoting heel straps for a more secure fit and ventilation ports on the toes that allow for breathability while shedding water and debris. Like most Crocs styles, both shoes are waterproof, lightweight and easy to clean. The Cinnamoroll style retails for $55, while the Hello Kitty clog retails for $70. Both styles are available in a slew of men’s and women’s sizes.
Crocs already had several other Hello Kitty styles under its belt, including one with Hello Kitty and Friends depicting the kitty alongside her companions Keroppi, Kuromi and Purin, among others. Crocs regularly unveils new collaborations — partnering with brands ranging from Pokemon to Bath and Body Works. While steadily producing new styles, Crocs also has an expanding takeback program for pre-owned shoes that aims to reach net zero emissions by 2040.
Beyond Hello Kitty, Crocs also recently teamed up with Japanese sci-fi media franchise Gundam in honor of its 45th anniversary. Much like their collaborative styles launched in the past, Crocs worked alongside the Gundam franchise to faithfully transform their classic clog style, ultimately creating a print mimicked after the series RX-78-2 fixed with red, blue and yellow color-blocking.
