Oodie launches new shoe range and fans rave they are the ‘best buy ever’
THE OODIE brand is best known for the plush hooded blankets, but now fans of the comfy clothing range can add footwear to their haul.
For the first time ever, Aussie brand The Oodie is venturing into footwear with its new collection of five fun styles.
The Oodie New Shoe Collection costs between £49 and £59, with designs suitable for chilling at home or venturing outdoors, that are available in sizes 36 to 43.
Shoppers can snap up the new collection, which starts shipping from 7 August, directly from the Oodie website.
The versatile vegan shoe collection features a fluffy Sherpa Boot; a weatherproof Sherpa Boot; a Slip-On mule; a Two Strap Sherpa sandal and a Two-Strap platform version.
Oodie promises the shoes provide all-day comfort, and we don’t doubt it considering how lush and cosy the Oodie hoodies are, which our Sun Shopping reviewer can attest to.
Some shoppers who had access to an early pre-launch drop have been sharing their verdicts on the new line-up.

Like other Oodie items, fans can select the style they love in a range of bold and bright colours, you could even co-ordinate your footwear with your favourite Oodie hoodie design.
We love the two-strap slider design for summer, which will keep your tootsies aired out and your feet feeling cool while the rubber sole provides grip and comfort for walking around.
And as one fan noted about the style, “They’re perfect for when my feet hurt from wearing shoes and boots. Snuggle and perfectly fit.

The Oodie New Shoe Collection
Two Strap Sherpa Slide, £49
The Two Strap Sherpa Sliders are perfect for indoor and outdoor wear.
They are lined with the soft sherpa boucle fabric (we love the green colourway), which is also on the outer and the straps.
This design features velcro straps you can easily adjust to fit the width of your feet perfectly, and when secure you can simply slip them on and off for a practical summer footwear option.
What we love: Perfect for wider feet thanks to the adjustable strap. We also love that Oodie has considered ultimate comfort with a moulded footbed and arch support design, so even a flat sandal can be easy to wear and easy on the joints.
Buy it if: You need a pair of versatile summer shoes that you can wear pottering around the house or poolside on holiday.
Two Strap Sherpa Platform, £55
Give me the two-strap slider design, but make it elevated! The Oodie platform sliders remind us a little of the Ugg platform designs, which have been hugely popular in the past.
This design boasts the same features as the Two Strap Slider, including the velcro fastening, arch support and moulded insole. It also comes in the sherpa fabric.
What we love: Easy-to-wear design that offers lots of versatility. Pair with a beach dress for your next pool party as a welcome alternative to a high-heel or wedge shoe.
Buy it if: You love the classic two-strap design but want something with a heel. The platform height is 6cm, which makes these sliders better suited to wear outdoors, in our opinion.
Puffer Boot, £59
The Puffer Slip On is like a parka jacket for your feet. It’s practical, weatherproof and mega comfy.
This design ticks a lot of boxes.
The outer shoe is made from a durable fabric, almost like a waterproof puffer jacket, to make it suitable for all weather conditions, while the inside has a plush sherpa lining for added warmth and comfort.
The style also features a rubber outer sole to provide extra grip outdoors.
What we love: It is a practical slip-on outdoor shoe that is ideal for wearing on dog walks or pottering around in the garden during the colder months.
Buy it if: You like the idea of a Croc but want something a bit more weather resistant. We would personally wear these with comfortable casual looks like jeans or leggings and a hoodie.
Puffer Slip On, £59
The Puffer Slip-On design is similar to the Puffer Boot, but the mule design makes them more suitable for summer or transitional weather.
What we love: The Puffer Slip-On features the same anti-slip rubber sole, padded exterior and Sherpa fleece inner lining to keep your toes warm. It’s the more cosy alternative to the classic Croc style and a great shoe for running errands or wearing around the house.
Buy it if: You like the Ugg Tazz mule style everyone went crazy over but want something a bit more hardwearing and warmer.
Sherpa Boot, £59
The Sherpa Boot is one of our favourites because it screams comfort on a cold winter day and reminds us of the reliable UGG boots style that has made a resurgence in recent years.
The Oodie Sherpa Boot features a rubber outsole, which makes them weatherproof and the sherpa lining means they are extra comfy to wear when the weather gets colder.
You may need two pairs — one for indoors to wear with your loungewear and another for casual outings or winter walks.
What we love: These boots are machine washable, so you don’t have to worry about stepping in a muddy puddle if you decide to wear them out of the house this autumn.
The boots have padded heel support, combined with the moulded footbed and arch support, to provide the necessary support for everyday wear.
Buy it if: You need a comfortable and practical style of footwear for autumn, but want something more affordable than classic UGGs.
