Love Island star grows close to jailbird boyfriend again after his prison release
DEMI Jones has been secretly seeing her music boss boyfriend again after he was released from jail.
Miami – real name Kai – walked free in April of this year after 26 months inside and sources say he and Love Island star Demi have picked up where they left off.
The pair were spotted looking very cosy at an event earlier this month, but have tried to remain as under the radar as possible.
An insider said: “Demi and Kai spend a lot of time together. They don’t like to make a deal about it but the connection is still very much there.”
Demi and Miami had known each other for some time, but decided to give things a go in June 2021.
A year later she confirmed their break up, telling The Sun at the time: “I am single. We did split unfortunately.”
Demi was later accused of still dating him while taking part in All Stars at the start of this year.
A video went viral capturing Demi on the phone to the music star from prison.
Demi, who coupled up with Luke Mabbot and then Luis Morrison, is said to have visited her incarcerated beau every week at HMP Wormwood Scrubs, West London.
She first appeared on Love Island in 2020 – when she shacked up with Luke Mabbott.
Miami was handed a four-year jail sentence in 2022.
The Londoner, who was manager to rapper Yungen, announced his incarceration by posting a picture to his Instagram account from behind bars.
He joked : “Should be in Marbs [Marbella] right now. Ffs.”
Ahead of his release Demi made it very clear she was looking forward to seeing him again and posted a love heart underneath a post revealing he was nearly free.
Demi’s rep has been approached for comment.
The Sun revealed in 2022 that Miami had been sent to prison when he shared a photo seemingly taken in a cell.
Demi and Luke, 29, split four months after meeting on Love Island in 2020.
He later got together with their fellow former Islander Lucie Donlan and the couple later got engaged.
Demi has since revealed they breakdown of her relationship with Luke has left her with trust issues.
She told the Mirror ahead of her All Stars stint this year: “I’ve had trust issues since last time.
“I got pied in Casa Amor, I coupled up with Luke and got to the end and the final and then they got with someone else after the show. So naturally my guard is up because of that.”
