FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Good Thursday Evening,
Showers and storms are forming just to our west this evening ahead of sunset and will continue to fill in as they approach our area. Some of these storms could produce gusty winds, frequent lightning, and pockets of heavy rainfall. Most of these storms should move east of our area by midnight tonight with a muggy night to follow. Low temps tonight should fall back into the lower 70s with very high humidity.
Friday, expect showers with a few storms as the low starts to pivot through our area. It appears that a few storms could have some gusty winds, but heavy rains will be the biggest threat with some of the showers & storms. Highs on Friday will still reach up into the upper 80s.
We will still have a weak weather disturbance over our area on Saturday, which will provide us with rain chances on and off through the day, and more seasonal temps in the middle 80s. Rain chances will fade by Saturday evening, with clearing skies heading into Sunday.
Sunday and Monday expect mainly sunny skies and highs around 90 both days, with drier air expected. A weak boundary will move into the area late on Tuesday with highs still near 90. Late in the day on Tuesday we will enjoy a few more isolated thundershowers. Behind this boundary, we will have clearing skies, with highs back into the upper 80s. Slightly cooler air will move in with temps falling back to the middle 80s on Thursday with partly cloudy skies.
