LORRAINE host Christine Lampard was forced to apologise today after guest Linda Robson swore live on air.
The Loose Women co-stars had a good chin wag about their time on the ITV talk show, Linda’s career aspirations and her son Louis’ song The Angel being adopted as an anthem by Arsenal.
Best known for playing gobby Tracey Stubbs in sitcom Birds of a Feather with Pauline Quirk and Lesley Joseph, Linda’s TV career goes back five decades.
But one thing she’d still love to cross off her bucket list is landing a part in EastEnders.
She said: “Oh yeah, I did do one wartime one, Sibby Street, years ago, I played Lou Bill’s sister Flo Bill, but I have hinted a few times that even a little cameo role or whatever, but I’d love to play a real b***h.
“Or someone really nasty because I always get light parts.”
A smiling Christine then said: “You know it’s a funny thing because I thought, she knows it’s early morning, she’s not allowed to swear for me and you just let a little one slip so I’m sorry if no one likes that word.”
Surprised, Linda said: “What the B word?”
Christine quickly jumped in and replied: “Don’t say any other words!”
“I didn’t realise it was a bad word,” said Linda innocently.
Her pal then revealed Linda’s potty mouth is often a source of concern for producers on Loose Women.
The blunder comes just weeks after Linda made a shocking confession on that show.
During a discussion about how age can affect hair loss, the actress proudly told the studio that her privates aren’t as “bushy” as they once were.
“Well, I’ve hardly got any hair now!” she began.
“I think, as you get older, you lose all your hair. I used to have a lovely brown bushy…” she added while gesturing downwards.
“Now, all I’ve got is a few stragglers,” Linda continued – with her fellow panellists visibly in shock.
