Party at hidden garden in Nicosia

The summer is a time of rest and leisure for most but not for all. For the team at Gardens of the Future in Nicosia, it has been a busy period of sustainability research and building and after a summer of hard work they are ready to party and unveil their new Greenhouse Pavilion this Sunday.

Gardens of the Future invites all those who find themselves in Nicosia to join a fun evening of exploring smart green solutions, learn about future materials and sustainable alternatives. All while enjoying the green garden and refreshing drinks. Hidden in a quiet street in downtown Nicosia (Elpinikis Street), the event will run from 6pm to 11pm, under the auspices of Nicosia municipality and the agriculture ministry.

Once there, apart from witnessing the brand-new Greenhouse Pavilion that a team of interns and volunteers are building, visitors will also get to enjoy BBQ style food options ranging from burgers and souvlaki, to falafels and bao buns and ice cream for dessert. The event also has a fundraising aspect with parts of the proceeds raised going towards the completion of the Smart Greenhouse project.
