'You're blowing it': Trump's fans beg him to change course as polls show GOP slipping
Donald Trump's own fans are begging the former president to change course as Vice President Kamala Harris now reportedly leads him in seven national polls.
Trump late Thursday night bragged that one of his endorsed candidates, Bobby Harshbarger, prevailed against incumbent Sen. Jon Lundberg in the Republican primary in Tennessee Senate District 4.
"Bobby Harshbarger wins!" the image posted on Truth Social by Trump states. "Endorsed by President Trump."

Instead of celebrating, a lot of commenters pleaded with Trump to shift his tactics.
An account called MagaRepublic4547, @Terpydavey, asked Trump to start posting on the social network formerly known as Twitter.
"GET ON X TRUMP OR YOULL LOSE WE NEED YOU ON X!" the account wrote. "GO POST ON THERE NOW!"
Numerous others, however, begged the ex-president to change his attacks on Harris.
Carrie, @stopeow, asked for civility.
"Mr President I hope you are doing well I just want to say that you need not put kamela down as a person," the account wrote. "Women hate that."
They added, "Just criticize her policies and how she supports men in sports If you bring up abortion explain that you believe abortion should be safe and seldom."
Th3ManyFacedGod, @Th3manyfacedgod, appeared to agree.
"You have to change the noise and start attacking Kamala Harris policy stances and not Kamala Harris the person!!!" the account wrote. "Keep it about policy and shift the direction of her campaign!!!"
nanaof7, @nanadof7, also had a problem with Trump's tone, saying the former president is "blowing it" for the upcoming election.
"Come on Trump. I love you, but STOP giving them ammunition!" they wrote. "Just say 'who cares what she is? Is she qualified?' I thought you were smarter than that but you’re acting like a dumbass. Don’t lose this election for us! Call Kelly Ann and listen to somebody smarter than you. You’re blowing it."
A user identified as @lynnzeiler wanted Trump to talk more about Project 2025.
"President Trump you need to address PROJECT 2025," they said. "The democrats are using it a fear tactic. YOU NEED TO ADDRESS. MEDIA IS PUSHING IT."
Suzanne, @suzanne302, criticized the former president's approach to the recent release of American prisoners detained in Russia.
"Regarding the release of hostages, your statement was correct, but don’t be defensive as it sounds," they wrote. "Be offensive! MAGA."
Someone Like You, @usernameusa, feels "disheartened" after being "forgotten" by Trump.
"I guess us Mississippians are the 'forgotten men & women,'" the user wrote in response. "Why haven’t you endorsed our candidate? I’m so disheartened. The one who is giving his all to hopefully remove Bennie Thomas. Why [Trump]? Why are you forgetting some of us who are so loyal to you. Help me understand. Do you want Bennie Thompson to win? Where is your endorsement for Ron Eller. Please help us get Bennie out!"
