One dead after crashing into residence in Topeka

TOPEKA (KSNT) - On Thursday night the Topeka Police were called to an injury accident. When officers arrived they found a vehicle that had struck a residence.

At 11:35 police responded to Southwest Huntoon and Southwest Plass Avenue for reports of an injury crash. Officers found a passenger had been ejected from the vehicle and was taken to a local hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.

The passenger was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Police say the incident is still active and an investigation is ongoing.
