Public invited to add species to river mural in Episkopi
A 20-metre-long mural, still in the making at Episkopi, Paphos, is now open to the public to add their own touches to the Ezoura-river-themed scene.
The Episkopi Environmental Centre has been hosting mural painting sessions for nature lovers, ages 8 to adults.
“Over the month of July, we have been studying and painting river species, plants and dragonflies that live along the Ezousa river and we have made amazing progress on our 20+-metre-long river life mural!” the centre says.
It is now inviting friends and members of the public “who wish to join in this beautiful permanent mural to come and add their favourite Ezousa species to the scene.”
Anyone can join and no previous experience is required.
The ‘mural painting parties’ will be held on August 10-11 at Episkopi Environmental Centre in Paphos.
Morning sessions run from 8am till 11am and evening sessions from 6pm to 9pm.
There will be an entry fee of €5 to paint or just watch, to cover the cost of supplies.
Cold fruit and iced drinks will be available.
