A BEAUTY lover has revealed the budget buy she scooped up that rivals a popular setting spray.
She found a dupe at her local Dollar Tree that gives her a glow similar to the makeup product.
Savvy shopper Kim picked up a $1.25 Dollar Tree dupe that rivaled a popular brand[/caption]Kim Nuzzolo (@kimnuzzolo) loves a great deal and shares how to find the most affordable beauty products.
In a TikTok video, she gushed about a $1.25 setting spray from Dollar Tree similar to a long-standing buy.
She previously shared budget-friendly dupes from the Glow Recipe Watermelon line at the discount store.
In the video, Nuzzolo said she picked up the face spray because she thought it was an aloe mist for your body after a sunburn.
“Then I read the back, and it actually says you can use this for your makeup to kind of melt everything together, like MAC Fix+,” she said.
The MAC Prep + Prime Fix+ Primer and Setting Spray is available for $34 at Ulta.
According to the product description, it is an “alcohol-free, mega-multitasking setting spray that hydrates, primes, refreshes, and sets makeup.”
The savvy shopper shared some of the ingredients inside that make them similar.
The Dollar Tree item contains water, hyaluronic acid, and leaf juice glycerin which are also in the MAC buy.
She added that it has soybean oil, cucumber fruit extract, licorice root extract, calendula extract, and baobab seed oil.
“All those ingredients sounded really good to me, especially for this huge size you get,” she said.
Next, she decided to do her makeup with it and see how it looked after.
She liked the mister feature because it “doesn’t feel like a water gun to the face” like other spray products.
After spraying her face with the Dollar Tree spray, it left her with a dewy finish and had a “pleasant scent.”

Nuzzolo dried it with a “really cute fan” that she also got from the store.
“Sprays just kind of melt all the creams and the powders together,” she explained.
If you feel like your makeup looks too “powdery,” she said that applying a setting spray makes everything look “more seamless.”
If you have dry skin, she recommended misting your face as well.
“You can do it before your makeup to prep, and then after, like I said, to melt everything in,” she said.
In the end, she was satisfied with the result.
“I feel like my makeup definitely looks meshed together. I feel like it gave me a little bit of a glow,” she raved.
The beauty fan said that it was probably due to the soybean oil ingredient.
She suggested using it on a hot summer day to “refresh yourself” because it is a “multi-purpose” buy.
Viewers appreciated the beauty deal and couldn’t wait to stock up.
“Oh wow! I have to try this!” one said.
“Great video! Thanks! Yes, I found it too. I love it!!! Bought three so far… have one on the vanity, one in the supplies closet, and put one in my purse. I loooove this!!! Great Dollar Tree find!”
