Frankie and Demi Sims break silence on Towie return and Joey Essex’s Love Island axe – saying Jessy could be ‘Mrs Essex’
FRANKIE and Demi Sims broke their silence on cousin Joey Essex’s Love Island journey.
Joey, 34, entered the ITV show at the end of Day 1 as the first ‘bombshell’ of series 11.

Demi commented that she is “just so proud” of Joey for finding his new flame, with the pair having coupled up on Day 31.
Demi said: “She is a lovely girl and when I look at them two together it makes me emotional.
“She could be Mrs Essex.”
While Frankie added: “I really like her. Out of all the girls in there, I would have selected her. She is just so chill and she seems like us.”
Joey and Jessy were dumped from the competition just ahead of the final.
They were voted out by a panel of ex-islanders – including Joey’s ex-partners Samantha and Grace.
Ultimately, his time in the ITV dating show proved fast-paced from start to finish.
Upon Joey’s arrival, as a bombshell, he ‘stole’ Samantha Kenny – displacing original islander Sam Taylor.
Sam was left single and dumped from the island in an early exit.
Later, Joey shocked Samantha by ‘dumping’ her to couple with bombshell Grace Jackson.
Upon Samantha’s return in Joey’s elimination episode, she questioned the former TOWIE star claiming they’d been in a “friendship couple.”
She said: “You saying to me we were one of the strongest couples in here and saying that you liked me as much as I liked you but then saying to Grace it was a friendship couple.”
Joey replied: “We were in a friendship couple,” to which Samantha fired back: “We went on a date, we weren’t in a friendship couple, I don’t know why you’re saying that.”
The Essex lad told her: “There was never a spark there.”
Like their cousin, Frankie and Demi achieved fame after starring on TOWIE.
They left the programme a few years ago, but could a return for the sisters be on the horizon?
Addressing the possibility in the same chat with OK!, Frankie coyly said: “never say never.”
Love Island airs on ITV and is available on ITVX.
