MWCPD: 1 child dead, 2 arrested in Midwest City

MIDWEST CITY, Okla. (KFOR) — The Midwest City Police Department (MWCPD) responded to a child neglect call Friday afternoon near East Reno Avenue. and Glenhaven Drive.

Authorities say a child was found malnourished and was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

According to MWCPD, two people were arrested at the scene.

There is no further information as the investigation is ongoing.
