Downtown Topeka's weekly 'Mimosa Mile' gets musical twist

TOPEKA (KSNT) - Saturday's 'Mimosa Mile' in downtown Topeka will feature a matinee screening of "Mamma Mia" at Evergy Plaza.

Participating downtown Topeka restaurants offer brunch and mimosas and have cards for customers to get stamped at each stop. A full card can be returned to the Topeka Welcome Center for a drawing.

The grand prize is a one-night stay at the Cyrus Hotel and a $100 gift card to a downtown restaurant of the winner's choosing.

The Aug. 3 event kicks off at 9:00 a.m. and lasts until 12:00 p.m. with the showing of "Mamma Mia" starting at 9:30 a.m.
