Daljit Singh Chawdhary has assumed additional charge of the Border Security Force after Nitin Agrawal's removal. Agrawal's premature repatriation came amid terror attacks in the Jammu region. Chawdhary, currently the Director General of Sashastra Seema Bal, will serve in this capacity until a permanent appointment is made.
