Hogan roves a Cadman contest in the pocket 20m out but misses a grubber on the turn. (Q1 3:43)
Hawks can’t clear half back on the kick in, Green passes to Hogan who leaps in front of Frost to mark again 35m out in front, his set shot drifts to the right. (Q1 4:18)
Whitfield passes short to Greene 50m out on the flank who kicks across the face to the right. (Q1 7:20)
Hawthorn finally gets the ball past centre on the rebound, Moore gathers a kick to grass in the pocket and chooses to centre for Gunston 30m out on a slight angle, he goals. (Q1 8:16)
The Hawks boss the next bounce, D’Ambrosio passes over traffic to Moore 35m out in front who puts the Hawks in front with his first goal. (Q1 9:43)
