Christian Eriksen has named his former Tottenham Hotspur teammate Victor Wanyama as the strongest player he has come across in his career.

Victor Wanyama left Tottenham in 2020
Wanyama had an excellent first season at Tottenham after arriving from Southampton in the summer of 2016, forming a formidable partnership in the middle of the park with Mousa Dembele.
However, injuries prevented the midfielder from having a regular run in the side in the subsequent seasons, although he was part of some memorable matches including the second leg of the Champions League quarter-final against Manchester City during Tottenham’s run to the final in 2018-19.
The midfielder eventually left Spurs at the start of 2020 on a free transfer and signed for Major League Side CF Montréal, where he still plays his football.

The Kenyan certainly appears to have made a major impression on Eriksen in the pair’s time together, with the Dane naming Wanyama as the strongest player he has played with.
The Man Utd star was tasked with building the perfect footballer by picking one player for each attribute and he did not hesitate to name the 33-year-old for strength.

The biggest compliment that Eriksen has paid Wanyama is that he picked him ahead of his former Spurs midfield partner Mousa Dembele, who was an absolute unit and brushed players aside with ease.
Those Wanyama-Dembele years always bring back happy memories.
