Fans love Olympics 2024 table tennis star’s outrageous trick shot as commentator calls him ‘MAGICIAN’ live on air
A SWEDISH table tennis star was labelled a “magician” after performing a remarkable trickshot in his gold medal match.
Sweden‘s Truls Moregardh, 22, lost 4-1 to China‘s Fan Zhendong on Sunday as the Scandinavian athlete was forced to settle for silver.

And one moment captivated both the crowd and viewers at home as he opted to pull out an astonishing shot while just two points from defeat.
Trailing 9-2 in the fifth set, he let the ball drop low before he scooped it up with a shot overloaded with spin.
Incredibly, the ball bounced on Pan’s side of the table and then span away from the Chinese athlete before he could get anywhere near it.
The ball ended up on the floor on Moregardh’s side, such were the revolutions on it.
He then cracked a cheeky smile to show just how much fun he was having despite the imminent defeat.
And those on social media were quick to hail the breathtaking skill after one Chinese commentator labelled him “the magician”.
One said: “Legend move.”

Sweden now have seven medals at the Paris Games – two gold, three silver and two bronze.
