HBO has released a 24-second teaser for The Last of Us season 2, which will continue to tell the story of Ellie and Joel, along with adding some new characters to the post-apocalyptic struggle.
The trailer includes a lot of frantic action and many shots of familiar faces as well as new ones. The one that had fans most excited was a very brief clip showing Kaitlyn Dever’s Abby, a character who was introduced in The Last of Us Part 2.
The shot, which is at 0:18 seconds in and lasts for less than a second, shows Abby in the snow, under a fence that has been weighed down by a horde of infected who are chasing her.
Fans of The Last of Us video games will recognize this particular scene because it leads to the events that are the catalyst for the whole game. We won’t spoil it here but you can read our plot rundown of The Last of Us Part 2 if you simply can’t wait for the show.
